Location

Casa Debbie is situated about 50 metres from the coastal promenade.

To the east are the natural beaches of Papagayo. These are about 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes by car. They are often claimed to be the most beautiful in all Spain.

To the west is the Rubicon Marina. A large modern marina built to a traditional Canarian design with a great variety of wonderful restaurants and shops. There are water sports available such as dinghy racing, shark fishing, catamaran trips and yacht chartering.

Next to the marina is Dorada beach. This has all the modern facilities you would expect from a top tourist attraction. It has been awarded the top European safety awards. For those that want to relax you can hire sunbeds with parasols. For those that want thrills you can go on a jet ski, a flyfish, banana boat or even paraglide.

A little further along the promenade is the town centre of Playa Blanca. This too has a white sandy beach lined with an even greater choice of restaurants. Just off the promenade is the main shopping street and taxi rank. From the old harbour you can take the ferry to Fuertaventura.

Further details

Five minutes walk from Casa Debbie is a supermarket, car hire office, cafe, restaurant, children’s play area and sports bar.
The free bus from the hotel next door takes you to Dorada beach and Playa Blanca. You are also welcome to use the facilities of the hotel such as swimming pool, restaurant & bar, evening entertainment and tennis courts.
